I had an hour to spare so thought I'd have a quick ride around the Pendam Trail. I've been taking it easy on the bike lately and felt as though I was getting slower rather than faster, so decided to have a hard ride and see how I did for time.... When I first got back on a bike a few months ago I managed the Pendam trail in 42 minutes, but today I could only do it it 45 minutes... I am getting slower!!! Grrrr.

It was VERY windy and wet so that could be my excuse, but I would have thought that a couple of rides each week for the past few months would have led to some improvement but it doesn't seem to have.

Still, it was good to put some effort in for a change and I enjoyed the ride anyway.
